William Morris Gallery Special Exhibition Gallery

The new extension to the William Morris Gallery houses a climate controlled temporary exhibition space that is capable of housing temporary exhibitions from international collections that meets the highest environmental and security standards for Government Indemnity. This is on the ground floor next to the main welcome area and the Tea Room, which can house opening views for exhibitions in the gallery.

The Gallery will run a programme of temporary exhibitions in this space, which will promote travelling shows as well as work by local artists and craftsmen. The opening exhibition was Grayson Perry's Walthamstow Tapestry.
